No, I do not accept insurance. My fees are $230 per 55 minute session.

However, I will provide superbills for clients with out-of-network coverage upon request. If you are unsure if you have OON coverage, you can call the member number listed on your insurance card and ask the following questions:

• Am I covered for couples counseling?

• Am I covered to see an “out-of-network” provider?

• Do I have a deductible, and if so, how much is it?

• What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?

Typical EFT Approach:

For the first appointment, I will see you as a couple. The next two appointments are individual assessment sessions where I will meet with each part of the couple individually. After the individual assessment sessions, we will meet as a couple moving forward. All appointments are 55 minutes long and $230. I assess my rates twice per year in January and July.

Extended Sessions:

Ninety minute sessions are available for couples who are looking to meet for more than the typical 55 minute appointment. These 90 minute sessions are available to current clients on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM and Saturday mornings. Extended Sessions are 90 minutes long and $345.

Two Day Couples Intensives:

2 Day Weekday Intensives (July & August): $2,500

2 Day Weekend Intensives (September through June): $3,200

Couples Therapy: I see couples for traditional couples therapy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

I wish I had a concrete answer to this question, but the truth is…it depends! Some couples will come in and will feel like they are in a better cycle after a few months of sessions and others will need or want to continue their work for longer. Every relationship and journey is different.

If you are looking to kickstart couples therapy or if you are a couple with a very busy schedule, I offer 2-Day Couples Intensives on select weekends and on weekdays during July & August in beautiful Newburyport. This format can be great if you want to commit a 2-day period to focusing on your relationship.
